Playroom? Office? Artist's Studio? Whatever
you wish to call it, this is (personally speaking) about the most useful
room in the house. It has a laminate floor in a light wood design, loads
of power points, a nice big window, and a pitched roof with exposed beams.
Light and airy, this room has a whole range of potential uses - dining
room, home office or study, playroom, ironing room (surely no-one could
have that much ironing); with a bit of tweaking (ok, you'd probably have
to add a shower unit somewhere, see below) this could even be turned into
a granny-annexe or be let for income.
At the end opposite the entrance to this room, there is a very large
storage cupboard on the right (shelved), and WC / utility room on the
left - see wc / utility page. Above the storage cupboard and utility rooms
there is a very large, mezzanine storage area, with a decorative, wrought
iron window in the gable. This area is fully boarded, covers the full
width of the room (nearly 10ft), and is approximately 6ft deep. |
